Vertical Style Blanket Chest  
The Vertical Style shown is Red Oak.  Red Oak is often used in furniture because of its durability.  It is a harder wood that resist denting better than other woods.  The trunk style has a camel top with a vertical frame built around the base to add ‘mass or boldness’ to the appearance of the trunk.  It has special wooden handles and wooden lift handle for the lid.
